Secondary schools throughout the UK are invited to take part in the Alu D&T Challenge which aims to teach 11-14 year olds about sustainable design using aluminium. The Challenge includes an opportunity for students to enter their ideas in a national competition for a chance to win prizes for themselves and their school.

The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro) and its Italian counterpart, CiAl (Italian Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Aluminium) are co-sponsors of a women’s cycling road racing team during 2016. The sponsorship is part of their ongoing commitment to communicate the benefits of recycling aluminium packaging and protecting the environment to consumers across Europe.
