Alupro is recruiting!
Alupro is looking for a new team member to develop and manage our campaigns to increase aluminium packaging recycling in the UK, including the Every Can Counts and MetalMatters programmes.
The role involves working closely with local authorities, waste management companies and other third parties to identify opportunities to develop beneficial partnerships, and providing advice and support on all aspects of running a successful aluminium recycling programme.
Working as part of our small but enthusiastic team you will be outgoing, confident and highly-motivated. You will have excellent inter-personal skills, be personable, professional and confident in your approach and presentation. You must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and have the ability to work under pressure, across multiple projects, and to tight deadlines. You must be able to contribute to team projects whilst taking responsibility for managing projects on your own. Experience of the waste management, packaging or recycling industry would be useful, but is not essential as full training will be given.
Although based in the Alupro office in Redditch the job holder will be responsible for projects in a defined area of the UK and so travel beyond the West Midlands will be a necessary part of the job, including overnight stays. There may be some irregular hours, for which time in lieu will be granted. You will need to hold a full driving licence.
In return we offer an excellent package including car, pension, performance related bonus and generous holiday allowance.
To apply please send a CV and covering letter, including salary expectations to: Rick Hindley, Executive Director, Alupro – rick.hindley@alupro.org.uk
Closing date for applications: Friday 20th January, 2017
